Valmeinier, with its two resorts at 1500 and 1800 meters, along with Valloire 1430, is one of the largest skiable areas of the Maurienne valley. The village, lying at an altitude of 1500 m, has kept all the charm of a traditional Alpine town. The resort at 1800 m is more modern. This family-oriented station is perfect for beginners and children. There is good quality snow all season long due to the fact that most of the ski runs face north.
