Situated at an altitude of 1,650 metres on a plateau between Beaufortain and Val d'Arly, the resort of Les Saisies offers a splendid location and an incomparable view of Mont Blanc. Alpine skiers may quickly exhaust the limits of this domain, but Franck Piccard's resort is a gateway to a veritable paradise for cross-country skiers. Versatile, vast, beautiful, well-equipped-there are too few adjectives to describe the Nordic skiing pistes that hosted the official sports events of the 1992 Olympic Games.
