Les Deux Alpes

The Deux-Alpes resort features not only a large skiable area with numerous good-quality ski lifts, but also a glacier, which means it can stay open in summer. While the skiing level on the glacier is aimed at the practicing beginner, at 3600 m high, the view is worth the trip up. Every year, the Deux-Alpes participates in the world of new snow and ice sports. The 20-hectare snowpark is kept up daily, and the snow-sport events are must-see shows (world ski and snowboard championships). What's more, the off-piste skiing area offers a variety of possibilities to visitors, especially now that it offers access to La Grave: the new feature of this season. Although visitors may not appreciate the architecture, they're sure to enjoy the lively resort ambience, day and night.
