Located at an altitude of 1380 meters, the little resort of Evolène combines relaxing skiing with a friendly atmosphere. The ski area is not particularly extensive, but it will delight advocates of family ski holidays. The village has managed to keep its valley charm and there is a peaceful atmosphere in the resort. In addition, a day care centre gives parents a break. One drawback of this resort is that most of the lifts are t-bars and poma lifts.
