Situated 2,000 meters high up in the Hérens valley, Arolla is an unpretentious resort. The area is beautiful, the accommodation of a high standard, and there is always snow. But the destination fails in not having enough ski slopes. Relatively low in cost in relation to other similar-standard Swiss villages, Arolla however remains an alternative when considering a short stay holiday.
