In Tartiflette We Trust has been the official skipass.com slogan ever since 2001. We are the only known - UN recognised - inventors and the owners of this slogan throughout the world and beyond.
It started out of nowhere and found its own way: the T-shirts and stickers made their first appearance in Les Deux Alpes, october 2001 and have not left the stage since. Some of the numerous many misteries surrounding the slogan are resolved below.
Are your being paid by the (well known) French Reblochon Union?
No, but every skipass.com employee receives his weight in Reblochon cheese every month, as long as he/she lives just for serving the just cause.
Would skipass.com be skipass.com without In Tartiflette We Trust?
Nobody knows. One thing is for sure: the slogan has helped skipass becoming known and finding the means of existance (when the Internet was not yet bringing us monthly millions) that without In Tartiflette We Trust would have had to be found elsewhere.
How can I support my favorite website?
The best way to support skipass.com and its cause, is to stick a sticker to your caravan, car, motorbike or bicycle or buy your mother-in-law one of our famous T-shirts.
On a more serious note: for each T-shirt sold, we donate 2 euros to the Mountain Riders association which works very hard for keeping the mountains clean and preserving the environment. We like their work and support it as actively as we can
