Brides-les-Bains is an underrated resort. Wrongly so! The location of this spa resort'just five minutes from Moûtiers'is ideal. Since 1992, a gondola lift has connected this small town with Méribel, providing access to all of the 3 Valleys [Trois Vallées]. Also, its geographical location makes it the perfect point of departure for skiers to explore all of the resorts in La Tarentaise. Finally, in addition to offering many after-ski activities (including a Casino), Brides-les-Bains has managed to preserve its spa town holiday charm, in agreeable contrast to the customary alpine resort architecture. read more
