The AR5 has officially been laid to rest, and in its place we have introduced its protégé, the AR6. This series still holds true to the intent of the AR5; however, it has undergone an overhaul making it even a better suited as a park and pipe ski and also improving its all-mountain performance. The major change in the AR6 is two fold. We have widened the dimensions of this particular model to provide skiers with increased stability. In addition, the variable slant sidewall technology used in the past has been replaced with a vertical sidewall. In doing this, excess sidewall material has been eliminated, and the core widened, furthering weight savings and added durability. By incorporating the Armada designed AR1 core along with carbon fiber stringers in the tail, the AR6 is more stable, stronger, and lighter than ever before. All this, combined with the addition of the 166cm to the line, rounds out the largest, most high performance offering yet from the ski that started the Armada revolution. It is simply the one ski in the Armada line that our athletes cannot do with out.
